This morning I spoke to BBC Radio Leicester about my question to the Home Secretary yesterday and the poor communication and lack of adherence to the process regarding asylum seekers placed in our area.
We discussed what actions I took and am taking going forward, the welfare of everyone involved, how the new French deal will help to tackle small boat crossings and Ady asked me if the cost to the taxpayer for hotel accommodation was acceptable.
For me, it was a simple "No."
