From today the second cost of living support payment will be made for people and families on means-tested benefits.
Up to 9,100 eligible homes across Bosworth will receive the £324 support payment (this is in addition to the first payment of £326 which was made at the start of summer). This includes people on Universal Credit, Income-based Jobseekers Allowance and Pension Credit.
This payment is part of the £37 billion package announced in May by Rishi Sunak when he was Chancellor, and is part of targeted support for up to 8 million of the most vulnerable households worth up to £1200.
As always, the payments are automatic - you don’t need to apply or give your bank details to receive - so please be mindful of scams.
Payment will be made by the end of the month.
