This week I was able to raise the issue of cyber security directly with the Minister for the Middle East, James Cleverly, following the reported Chinese state sponsored cyber-attack on Microsoft exchange servers.
It’s vital that the UK’s businesses, interests and citizens are protected when we are dealing with China, as the threat from cyber security and online scams increases.
I’m pleased to see 39 countries joining the UK in calling out this behaviour. It’s imperative we work with our allies to deal with these threats.
