Yesterday I hosted a reception in Parliament with the NFU on the important issue of rural mental health and well being.
We are a proud rural community so I was pleased to welcome three farmers from Bosworth to the event to discuss support for people in rural areas like ours with the NFU President, Minette Batters.
I'd like to thank the charities who came along for their work and support in this area, and the Mental Health Minister Maria Caulfield for addressing the event.
I will continue to champion - both locally and down in Westminster - our excellent farmers and producers, and work to ensure they receive the support they need.
