On 1st September I had the pleasure of meeting the senior leadership team at Caterpillar as we planted a tree to commemorate their 70th anniversary in Desford.
It was a fantastic opportunity to tour the factory and see some of the machines they manufacture right here.
Today I raised Caterpillar's terrific success in our area with Industry Minister, Nusrat Ghani MP, and asked if she would come to our area to visit the Desford site with me soon.
