There’s still time for registered Interested Parties to have their say on the proposed Hinckley National Rail Freight Interchange.
Alberto Costa, MP for South Leicestershire (where the rail hub risks being built), and I are working together to ensure the Planning Inspectorate hears ours and our communities key issues and concerns with the application.
If you’ve registered as an Interested Party and want to submit written representations on the proposal please do so before the October 10th deadline.

Open Floor Hearing 1 – Monday October 30th at 6pm
Issue Specific Hearing on Traffic and Transport – Tues 31st Oct at 10am
Issue Specific Hearing on Environmental Matters – Weds 1st Nov at 10am
Issue Specific Hearing on Need and Socio-Economic Matters – Weds 1st Nov at 2pm
Open Floor Hearing 2 – Thurs 2nd Nov at 10am
Compulsory Acquisition Hearing – Thurs 2nd Nov at 2pm
Issue Specific Hearing on the Draft Development Consent Order – Fri 3rd Nov at 10am
*Location details are to be confirmed, but expected to take place at local venues following my complaint letter ahead of the Preliminary Meeting held in Leicester City. Please note, registered Interested Parties are invited to attend in person but asked to make the Planning Inspectorate aware of their intention to attend one of the above meetings.
