Last month I was a victim of cyber flashing and malicious communications. I was approached by two different numbers on WhatsApp who purported to know me.
The first messages came through when I was with my wife, the second came through 10 days later when I was in the office with my team. After I tried to verify who was messaging me, I was sent sexually explicit images.
I immediately blocked the numbers and reported them to the police and Parliamentary security.
Leicestershire Police have been exemplary and I thank the Whips for their support, but I have significant concerns about how this was handled by parliamentary security which I raised today with the Leader of the House of Commons.
